Welcome to the first activity on our little isle! Ever wanted to make something that holds a memory without having to spend hours on it? I've got a cute and wholesome idea just for that purpose, handpainting. :D

This is an enjoyable painting in which YOU have the freedom of choice on how you want to make it. Invite your friends, family, or significant other to join you. You can also do it solo, which is what I will be showing you in this blog.
Materials

ACRYLIC PAINT It is crucial to use acrylic instead of other mediums for this artwork. Paint transfer quality is a lot better than watercolor. Acrylic also washes way more easier compared to oil which will take you daysssss.
CANVAS It is not necessary to use a canvas here, you can use paper or apply it to anything else such as cloth bags, paper, or even glass.
TAPE The best type to use is painter's tape, and the best substitute for that is masking tape. These two provide the cleanest lines and will not harm the material you are working on. Only use other kinds if you absolutely have no other choice.
PENS My recommendation is to use water based pigma pens. The outcome will be very different to ordinary office pens. Though, markers will work just as fine here as well.
Steps Breakdown
This will be the portion in where I show you how I MYSELF did this. Please do feel free to do it in your own preference, change up or even remove some steps. Don't be afraid to be creative. <3

Place tape a bit below the middle line section.

Place your chosen color of paint on your hand. You can use your foot too if you want.

Smear that paint around.

If you are using a brush to spread the paint, please put the paint onto your hand and not the brush. Remember, you are not painting you hand, you are turning your hand into a brush.

Play.

Fully coat like it's the blood of your sworn enemy.
IMPORTANT NOTE

Be sure that your hand is fully coated and does not have a thin layer. There must be enough paint to transfer, more paint is actually better in this case.
(Left side not enough paint, right side just right.)

Firmly and gently push down on the canvas before the paint dries on your hands. Slightly twist each finger to get the sides, but DO NOT spread or move from the initial spot.

Lift up your hand and hold the canvas down to reveal the mark.
Invite someone to join in and follow the same steps. KEEP NOTE to use the same side (left hand or right hand).

I don't have someone else so I did it solo. ;-;
I just placed my hand a bit lower and only stamped a smaller area to make it look like two different people.

Such a cute couple right?

Once you are satisfied with the prints, carefully peel off the tape.

On here, I suggest writing your name/s and the date you made it. Of course, you don't need to listen to me, write whatever you want. ;)
MY DECOR CHOICE

Of course you can leave it as is if you like it plain- I mean, minimalistic. For me, I chose to add these pretty simple pretty lineart flowers. The favorite flower of the people (or person ;-;) in the painting

Our favorite [the flowers I picked out solo] are roses and lavender flowers, which is what we [I] have drawn.
PROJECT-I COMPLETED

Thank you for stopping by! I'd love to see your creations if you chose to make one as well, please send them to me in any of my contacts. :D

Does this work with foot?🤔
Easy to follow and the result is absolutely gorgeous! Keep it up! ;)
